In collaboration with Hanz and Adeline Um, Manchester’s Rohaan incredibly emotive ‘Thorns’ has us completely captivated. Speaking of the track on his SoundCloud page, Rohann remaks “this song is about that internal battle and just accepting the feelings of losing a loved one” which is reflected and wholeheartedly felt in lyrics such as ‘you’ll cry one hundred times, can’t seem to find the answer’. The sombre tone of the instrumental and the soft vocals of Adeline Um complement each other perfectly with the chemistry of these artists shining through. Rohaan is an artist we have high hopes for and if this, alongside his other releases are any indication, he is definitely headed in the right direction. –Christian St.Croix
